Sony have announced an impressive looking device called the T650i, a phone that hints at the styling of the recent W880i and the K810i, but that is clearly a very attractive model in its own right. Available in a choice of Midnight Blue or Glowing Green it has a stainless steel body that should give the LG Shine a run for its money.
The dinky little metal buttons seem to be a feature of new Sony Ericssons these days, and though I have to admit I didn’t like the look of them when viewing them on screen, having seen the W880i and the K550i in the flesh, they are very smart phones, and the buttons press with a satisfying click!
The T650i is only 12.5mm thick, and pretty light at 95mm, especially for a phone with a metal casing, but punches above its weight with a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, a front end video call camera, MP3 player, FM radio, 256,000 colour display and it’s 3G as well.
Expect the Sony Ericsson T650i to arrive in the autumn of this year.
