iPhone Dev Center launched for iPhone web-app development

Don’t jump for joy just yet. Apple has just launched the iPhone Dev Center as part of their Apple Developer Connection, but it isn’t some early iPhone SDK release. The new Apple iPhone Dev Center is concentrating on the iPhone web-app development environment for now.

The iPhone Dev Center offers tips, tricks, coding samples, and video from Apple’s iPhone Tech talks - but only as they relate to web-apps. We can’t wait for the iPhone Dev Center to actually include support for the full-fledged iPhone SDK that we’re still barely able to believe is on the way.

iPhone web-app developers can head on over to the iPhone Dev Center for more info on how to make those spiffy AJAX-powered apps play nice with the iPhone.
